Friday Baby Faves!

I'm listing my most FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION: What are your favorite baby items?! I will update this list every Friday with one thing we loved when she was newborn, one thing I use all the time now, and one of Daddy's faves!

1. Snoo Bassinet. This was literally the best purchase and well worth the money for us. You can also rent the snoo to save money, especially if you want to try it out first and see if your babe likes it or you know you won't be having any more kids.

2. North States Play yard. We love this thing so much, we bought a second. It's big enough for her to crawl around and play, watch tv, lounge, etc. We also have the one downstairs set up as a gate blocking her off from the tv stand.

3. Boppy Nursing Pillow (more for lounging, I prefered the My Breast Friend pillow for nursing! see my nursing faves list here)

4. Zippadee Zip Sleep Sack
we used this sleep sack once Gioia was ready to transition out of a traditional swaddle. It still gave her that feeling of being contained and having "edges" to her space like babies do in the womb, but the freedom to sprawl out, roll over safely, crawl around, etc. Around 8 months, we dropped the zipadee zip and went to a sleeveless sleep sack!

5. Teething popsicles. We LOVE these! Especially when she's being specifically fussy due to teething, she gets so excited to see one of these come out of the freezer! I am linking two kids: one that can hold liquid, which we put breast milk in until we introduced solids and the second kind, you can put fruit, purees, or anything a little thicker than a liquid.

6. Bathtub seat.
Once Gioia could sit up on her own, bathing her got a little bit riskier as she no longer wanted to lay back in the infant seat. We decided to try this bath seat and she LOVED it (until she could crawl) so we got a few good months out of it! We also put it in the baby pool during the hot Florida summer so she could splash around outside.
